Go Daddy to Share Vision of the Future of Web Hosting in Keynote

RENTON, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Parallels today announced that Go Daddy, the world’s largest Web hosting provider, will discuss its perspectives on the future of Web hosting in a keynote speech at the Parallels Summit 2011. Warren Adelman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Go Daddy, will deliver a keynote speech – “Dragging Your Knuckles or Walking Tall?” at 10am EST on Wednesday, February 23. The Parallels Summit, the leading global annual gathering of the Cloud industry, will take place February 22-24 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

"Previously, users needed to have a high level of knowledge to run feature-rich websites," said Adelman. "Now, applications are so advanced, sophisticated and easy to use ... hosting companies have to be performing at the top of their game to stay ahead of their customers' needs. In addition to features and functionality, customers want reliability, security and performance - all without paying a fortune."

The focus of the 6th Annual Parallels Summit is on taking advantage of the Cloud services opportunities in the SMB market. Go Daddy’s keynote is one of eight keynote presentations by industry leaders and innovators.

“We are extremely pleased to have Warren speak at the Parallels Summit. Our goal in organizing the Summit is to create a platform for industry leaders to come together and share their different perspectives on the fast-changing Cloud space so attendees can learn from them, as well as from each other, and be prepared to step into the future,” said Jack Zubarev, Parallels President of Marketing and Alliances. “Warren’s participation at this year’s event promises to be a highlight.”

More than 1,500 attendees are expected at the Parallels Summit 2011, including hosting companies, communication service providers (CSPs), value-added resellers (VARs), software vendors and web designers from around the world. You can join the discussion about the event on Twitter @parallelssummit and on the Parallels Cloud Service Provider Blog.
